Person Wanted for Murder, Arrested in Parañaque

The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the operatives of the District Intelligence Division, Southern Police District together with Sipalay City Police Station, Negros Occidental for the successful manhunt operation in Manggahan dos, Brgy Merville, Parañaque City done at about 12:25pm of June 03, 2020.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Roger Lumanog y Quejas a.k.a Jijie Lumanog, male, 36 yrs old, single, filipino, with provincial address at Camindangan, Sipalay, Negros Occidental ang presently residing at Manggahan Dos , Brgy Merville, Paranaque City.

He was wanted for the crime of murder issued by Hon. Rodney Z Magbanua, presiding judge of RTC Branch 61 Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

Initial investigation disclosed that the DID, SPD operatives in coordination with the elements of Sipalay CPS, Negros Occidental effected the service of a warrant of arrest to the above-named accused following an information from a confidential informant regarding his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, close monitoring, surveillance and further investigation disclosed that the suspect also allegedly serves as a liaison officer of the Southwest Front – CPP NPA Terrorist (SWF-CNTs). He allegedly works with his cohort identified as Rex Vargas to supply essential medical and food items to elements of the NPA in the area.

The accused was turned over to the jail facility of Taguig CPS for temporary custody prior to his eventual transfer to Kabankalan, Negros Occidental for subsequent return of the warrant of arrest to the court of origin.

“I commend the effort of my men in the enforcement of our manhunt operation against wanted persons hinding in the Metro. I greatly appreciate the help of the citizenry in providing indispensable information which led to the success of our police operation,” PMGEN SINAS said.
