In the midst of the battle against Corona Virus Disease 2019, some Filipinos were able to show compassion to the hard working health workers and law enforcers or the so called ‘front liners’.
The National Capital Region Police Office appreciates the initiative of stakeholders and other individual in donating masks, gloves, thermal scanner, equipment and food packs given to the deployed cops performing their stringent call of duty.
Meanwhile, Panda Express donated 600 food packs and Greenwich provided 500 meals for the troops in the grounds;
Ceres Liner also showed their cooperation by allowing the use of their twelve (12) buses to ferry the NCRPO personnel from their District Headquarters to their Quarantine Control Points (QCP) and vice versa;
SM Malls allowed the use of their 100 thermal scanner for the benefit of the public;
Maynila Water donated 2,000 pieces of 300 ml bottled water while SM Bicutan provided 315 bottled water;
Magnolia provided 818 La Pacita Biscuits while Starbucks thru TDL gave assorted food products to our front liners; and
Globe Telecom donated 68 sets of 6×6 tent utilized in our different control points.
“There are still a lot more people and restaurants who lent their hand to our personnel. We may not mention all of you, but we are sincerely grateful for your help,” said Metro Top Cop.
PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS emphasized that the donations and assistance are of great help in the performance of their duty. “I am grateful that in your own ways, many among our citizens never fail to show us their support. Their generosity and cooperation to the ‘front liners’ manifest their support to the government’s fight against CoVid 19”, PMGEN SINAS said.
