Project 4 Extends Detention Facility, Promotes Safer Environment For PUPCS

The Chief of the National Capital Region Police Office, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the efforts of Project 4 Station 8, Quezon City Police District in prioritizing the well-being of Persons Under Police Custody (PUPC) through the extension of their station detention facility.

QCPD PS8 Station Commander initiated the improvement on the station custodial detention facilities with the use of their allocated funds to avoid congestion and ensure the safety of everyone in the midst of the current pandemic. The construction started on August 1, 2020 and ended on August 4, 2020.

Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is ideal for the detainees to observe safe distance from one another to curb any possible spread of the virus within the facilities. Nevertheless, the station assures that Persons Under Police Custody (PUPCs) are in good health condition before being detained.

PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS was overwhelmed with the realization of the project. “I commend the genuine consideration shown by the station commander and personnel towards our detainees. This bigger detention facility is very timely and promotes a safer and healthier environment for our PUPCs,” said PMGEN SINAS.
