QCPD Nets Shabu Worth 6.8 Million

NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commends the successful buy bust operation of Batasan Hills QCPD which yielded a total of Php6, 800,000 worth of illegal drugs.

The operation was led by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cavite wherein series of surveillance and monitoring were conducted before an anti illegal drug operation was plotted.

Records show that it was June 27, 2020 at about 8:30 am, when personnel of SDEU Batasan Police Station together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cavite conducted a buy-bust operation at Ever Commonwealth, Calle Bistro Parking Lot, Batasan Hills, Quezon City. Said operation resulted in the arrest of three male drug suspects identified as:

1. AMEL ABDUL Y DIPATUAN, 30 years old, resident of Phase 12, Tala, Caloocan City;

2. PFC OMAR PAGAYAWAN Y SALILLAGUIA, 36 Years Old, Army Reservist, Resident of Brgy. Hugo Perez, Trece Martires, Cavite;

3. JUNAID LONDAY Y DESUMA, 26 years old, Resident of Phase 12, Brgy. Tala, Caloocan City.

Investigation disclosed that a police officer acted as a poseur buyer and was able to purchase suspected shabu from the suspects. Upon consumation of the drug deal, poseur buyer signaled to back up team and they immediately effected their arrest.

Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:

1.) One (1) piece of transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

2.) One (1) geniune php 1000.00 and Nine hundred ninety nine thousand (999,000) boodle money

3.) One (1) Honda motorcycle

4.) Seven (7) pieces of Different Identification Cards

The confiscated illegal drugs have an aggregate weight of more or less 1kg amounting to Php6,800,000.00. It has been turned over to PDEA laboratory for confirmation testing.

The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Brgy Kagawad Luisito Lodivica of Brgy. Batasan hills, Quezon City and Mr Darwin Querubin of QCPD Press Corp.

Arrested suspects were turned over to PDEA for proper disposition.

“We have busted another millions worth of shabu and apprehended drug peddlers. More operations will be hatched and more arrests will transpire in this war against illegal drugs,” PMGEN SINAS emphasized.
