NCRPO “QUAD-INTEL FORCE” AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS
The very first formal alliance of an anti-illegal drug force among the 4 major government agencies tasked to address the problem of illegal drugs was presented before the Media in a press briefing at the NCRPO Headquarters this morning. The Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Armed Forces of the Philippines formed this alliance on the 27th day of September 2019.
The Regional Director of NCRPO, PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, DIR. JOEL PLAZA, Regional Director PDEA- NCR, BGEN ALEX DELA CRUZ LUNA, Commander, JTF-NCR, AFP and ATTY. CESAR A BACANI, Director, NBI-NCR manifested a united stand to run after the scalawags within their ranks, consolidate intelligence and operational plans against illegal drug activities and personalities.
As part of the government’s total approach in the country’s most populated region, the Quad Intel force aims to maximize the various gains of the campaign against illegal drugs as mandated by PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE for his term.
The different lists, intelligence and efforts from the PNP, NBI, PDEA and AFP shall now be consolidated for a more effective drug campaign and for maximum poductivity in results. The unified list of prioritized targets has been initiated and will be the main focus of operations. The pinpointing of rogue cops still in the illegal drug trade is the maximum priority.
Meanwhile, protocol of intel-sharing and joint operations will soon be established.
With this alliance, PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR assured that: “ NO COMPROMISE AND ZERO TOLERANCE” policy shall be applied in the NCRPO.”
