The National Capital Region Police Office under the leadership of PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS announced that one personnel of Police Station 4- Quezon City Police District yielded positive result during the conduct of random drug testing last May 28, 2020.
Among the seventy (70) personnel who underwent the screening test, the urine sample submitted by PSSg Arthur Santos II, resulted positive. Likewise, in a confirmatory test using a GCMS done on the same urine sample submitted by PSSg Santos II, yielded POSITIVE result for the presence of Methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu).
Regional Director PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS immediately directed the District Director of Quezon City Police District and the Station Commander to disarm the police officer of his issued firearms. While appropriate administrative case will be filed against subject personnel.
PMGEN SINAS assured that continuous random drug testing will be conducted to identify unscrupulous personnel who are engaged in illegal drugs.
