The NCRPO Regional Health Service, in compliance with the directive of the Regional Director, NCRPO, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS prioritizes the health and welfare of the frontline workers deployed to safeguard the Metro and other facilities against the unseen CoViD-19 Virus.
On May 8-9, 2020 the Regional Health Service, led by LTCOL BEVERLY DE Guzman conducted rapid diagnostic testing to the following personnel who were augmented to secure the National Bilibid Prison composed of 131 elements from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion and 71 personnel from the Special Action Force.
And among those who were tested, 4 personnel from RMFB, 1 from SAF and another 1 PNP personnel were found to be IGG/IGM positive.
They were advised accordingly by the RHS and are currently being processed for isolation in the NCRPO Quarantine Facility.
Further, 313 BUCOR personnel were likewise tested, 32 personnel were found to be IGG or IGM positive. Due coordination was made by PLTCOL DE GUZMAN to DR. VILLANUEVA, the Medical personnel of BUCOR for the immediate isolation and contact tracing of their respective personnel.
This effort of NCRPO is being undertaken to ensure that measures are established for early detection of infection among NCRPO personnel while performing their regular duties and to prevent the spread of the virus among PNP personnel and also with the PDLs inside the BUCOR Facility which may be vulnerable to massive infections.
