The National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful manhunt charlie operations of Raxabago-Tondo Police Station 1, MPD in coordination with personnel from San Jose Del Monte Municipal Police Station, Bulacan, PRO3 Warrant Section which led to the arrest of PS 1 MPD’s Top 5 Most Wanted Person for Rape.
The operation stemmed from information gathered by PS1 intelligence unit and warrant section of the Manila Police District through a series of monitoring, operational research, complete background investigation and social media exploitation which later led the operatives to the whereabouts of the accused.
Thereafter, due coordination and surveillance was made in close coordination with the personnel of Bulacan Police.
After positively identifying the accused and his whereabouts, the arrest was finally undertaken at about 3:40 PM of June 27 2020 in Brgy. San Roque, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
The suspect was identified as Melchor Besuyo y Galicio @Boy Kune/Mang Boy, 63 y/o, male, married, driver, DOB January 4, 1967, POB Tondo, Manila and presently residing at Purok 3, Brgy San Roque, SJDM, Bulacan.
Futher probing disclosed that he was ranked Top 5 Most Wanted Person of the Manila Police District Police Station 1.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Hon Judge Roberto P. Quiros of RTC-Branch 29, City of Manila for the crime of RAPE docketed under CC # R-MNL-19-03282-CR dated April 3, 2019 with one hundred twenty thousand pesos (Php 120,000.00) bail recommendation.
The suspect is now temporarily detained in the Custodial and Detention Section of Raxabago Police Station pending the return of the warrant to the court of origin and issuance of Commitment Order by the Court.
