RD NCRPO Reached Out To A Family Living In A Parked Jeepney

The National Capital Region Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS reached out to a family living in a parked jeepney on May 2, 2020 along 157 N.S. Amoranto Corner1, Tabayoc St. Brgy Sienna Quezon City.

The family of Julius Evangelista was featured by Jervis Manahan on ABS-CBN News program dated May 1, 2020 wherein they started to live in a parked jeepney during the start of the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine. Unable to pay their monthly rent, they were driven away by the landlord. Fortunately, the jeepney operator where Evangelista works, allowed them to stay in the vehicle to protect themselves from sunlight, rain and the virus itself.

PMGEN SINAS, without a second thought, promptly ordered to locate the family and hand them with essential necessities.

Hygiene kits, bulk packs of powdered Milk, and packs of food supplies were given to the family to help them on their daily needs during the quarantine.

“I cannot sit and watch some of our people suffering from the pandemic. With this own little act of help, the intention is for this family to find hope that everything will be fine soon and courage to continue living until we all succeed in this plight against Covid 19,”  PMGEN SINAS said.
