The operation was hatched from the information given by a civilian informant. Casing and surveillance were conducted against the suspect resulting in a positive validation.

The arrest was made through the buy-bust operation conducted wherein a RDEU, NCRPO operative acted as a poseur buyer.

The poseur buyer purchased from the suspect one (1) piece of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu in exchange of a boodle money worth Php 75,000.00.

Accordingly, upon consummation of the illegal drug transaction, the poseur buyer sent off the pre-arranged signal wherefore the team immediately arrested the suspect and recovered from his possession another sachet of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu including the boodle money and one cellular phone.

A total of fifty (50) grams of shabu with estimated street value of Php 340,000 Pesos has been confiscated from the said operation.

Case records show that this is Dudley’ s third arrest. He was previously arrested on April 8, 2016 by Pasay Police Station for violation of Section 5 and 11 of RA 9165. However, he was acquitted and subsequently released by the court. Days after his released, he engaged himself again in drug trafficking. NCRPO RDEU then arrested him on July 24, 2018 through a buy bust operation. Thereafter, Dudley filed a motion for reinvestigation and the case was dismissed. Consequently, a motion for reconsideration was filed by the NCRPO RDEU and currently on process. Dudley continued his involvement in drug trafficking thus, the third operation was conducted.

The arrested suspect and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to RDEU office and will be subjected for technical examination before the PNP Crime Laboratory Office.

The National Capital Region Police Office Regional Director, PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR assured that the authorities will further investigate the reason why his previous cases were dismissed.
