Semana Santa 2019 Celebration Generally Peaceful

“As we end the entire Holy Week, I am glad to proclaim that the effective Team NCRPO’s full force deployment led to a notable decrease of crime rate during Semana Santa 2019. To ensure the generally peaceful Semana Santa 2019 celebration, I personally inspected the security situation of our key areas whether the PNP directives and security guidelines are being followed by our deployed police personnel. I felt good seeing the presence of our men and women in these areas to deter possible crime occurrence.

After ensuring the safety of the public during the Holy Week, the NCRPO has enhanced its security coverage since Metro Manila has several economic activities and we are expecting people influx in Metro Manila especially to shopping malls and other places to include tourist destinations. I retained the full alert status in Metro Manila to sustain its intensified public and safety security operations, law enforcement as well as other administrative and operational activities.

Summer Vacation 2019 continues, rest assured that our Enhanced Managing Police Operations Strategy, maximum police presence, establishment of Police Assistance Desks and Tourist Police Assistance Desks and other pre-emptive measures are strictly observed and monitored to attain peaceful and enjoyable summer vacation in Metro Manila.

NCRPO will continue its efforts to protect our fellowmen against criminality. “Peace is everybody’s concern. Let us help each other to get rid of these criminals. I am asking the public to cooperate and closely coordinate with us through the nearest police stations or through social media accounts: Facebook Pio Ncrpo; Facebook Page@PIONCRPO2019; twitter@pioncrpo2019; and Isumbong Mo Sa Team NCRPO hotlines 0999-901-8181or 0915-888-8181 whenever there is any suspicious person or activities observed.
