The police trainees will be turned over to Field Training Officers who will directly supervise them and orient them of the first hand scenarios and police duty in the field. This will be their initial exposure to the police community and actual police work.
NCRPO Chief challenged the Field Training Officers and senior police officers to do their part in the improvement of the training system. ‘Kayong Field Training Officers, Senior Officers, chinachallenge ko kayong iimprove ang sistema”, he said.
PMGEN ELEAZAR ceaselessly reiterates his vision of an improved recruitment and training culture in the PNP as he believes that this is one of the entry points of misfits in the organization.
The Field Training Exercise forms part of the 1 year Basic Police Training where the newly recruited police officers will be turned over to the five districts of NCRPO to observe actual police work focusing particularly in Patrol, Traffic and Investigation phase.
