Source Of Illegal Drugs In Sta. Cruz Manila Arrested, 1.7 Million Pesos Worth Of Suspected Shabu Recovered

PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Chief, NCRPO applauds the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of PS – 3 Sta. Cruz Police Station, Manila Police District for the apprehension of two drug personalities for violation of R.A. 9165 through a buy-bust operation along 936 Oroquieta St., Barangay 312,  Sta. Cruz, Manila at around 4:00 AM of September 1, 2020.

Initial investigation disclosed that the suspects were identified as:

  1. BHEDZ DALINGDING Y GIOSOL, @ Bhedz, 52 years old, married, native of Sultan Kudarat and presently residing at 936 Oroquieta St., Sta. Cruz Manila; and

b) TERESETA HONORICA y LUALHATI, 39 years old and presently residing at 1079 J. Fajardo Ext. Sampaloc, Manila.

The operation was plotted after information gathered through tactical interrogation of the previously arrested suspects revealed that the two suspects were their source. The operatives immediately arranged a buy-bust operation against the subject person which resulted in the arrest.

Recovered from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:

a.) Five (5) pcs. large heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

b.) One (1) pc small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; and

c.) PHP 500.00 peso bill with powder dusting utilized as buy bust money.

The marking and inventory of the recovered pieces of evidence was witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Rodelito Jurilla of Barangay 312 Sta. Cruz, Manila and Media Representative Mr. Jerome Amoroso.

The confiscated illegal drugs has an estimated aggregate weight of more or less 252 grams with DDB value amounting to PHP1,713,600.00. It will be turned-over to MPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.

The arrested suspects were brought to Sta. Cruz Police Station Custodial Facility for proper documentation pending the filing of appropriate charges for violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11 Article II of R.A. 9165 otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”

“The arrest of these drug sources will greatly contribute to the decrease of illegal drug distribution in the region. I assure the public that TEAM NCRPO will not stop until we are able to arrest all the drug sources and peddlers here in Metro,” said PMGEN SINAS.
