The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the manhunt operation conducted by MPD PS-1 Raxabago Police Station which led to the arrest of their station’s Top 4 Most Wanted Person on July 2, 2020 at about 12:30 PM.

Alias Warrant of arrest was served against Mark Joseph Grino y Villanueva, 31 years old, single, salesman and presently residing at 555 Pag-asa St., Brgy. 182, Zone 16, District II, Tondo, Manila.

Records show that series of monitoring, operational research, complete background investigation and social media exploitation were conducted to locate the whereabouts of the suspect. Further, coordination and surveillance were also made with the counterpart police unit who has jurisdiction in the area.

On July 2, 2020, upon receiving an information that the accused was present at 3rd Floor Glorietta Mall, Makati City, Intel Operatives, Station Warrant Personnel and Follow-up Operatives of PS 1 MPD wasted no time and arrested the accused.

The Alias Warrant of Arrest was issued by Hon. MARIA CELESTINA C CRUZ-MANGROBANG, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 38, Manila for Rape (2 Counts) with Criminal Case no. R-MNL-20-00108-109-CR dated February 13, 2020. No bail recommended.

The accused was informed/appraised of his constitutional rights and is now under the custody of Police Station 1 MPD for documentation pending the issuance of the commitment order against him.

“I commend the intelligence and manhunt efforts of Raxabago Tondo Police for apprehending their station’s Top 4 Most Wanted Person. I expect more operations and accomplishments from all stations within the Metro as part of our Manhunt Charlie,” PMGEN SINAS said.
