The National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauded the immediate response of 1st Mobile Force Company Muntinlupa Forward Platoon Regional Mobile Force Battalion- National Capital Region Police Office (1st MFC RMFB NCRPO) and Muntinlupa City Police Station, Southern Police District to a complaint for robbery “Akyat-bahay” which resulted in the arrest of the suspect and seizure of suspected illegal drugs from his possession.

According to the initial report, the operation stemmed from a request for police assistance from Francis Palean who allegedly witnessed the suspect entering his house through the window.

Thereafter, the suspect fled. Victim tried to run after him but his effort was futile. Upon verification, the victim found out that several items were missing from his home, to wit:

1 unit Real Me 6i cellphone colored white;
1 unit of vivo Y51 colored white gold;
1 Huawei colored white; and
1 Powerbank.

This prompted him to immediately seek the assistance of the personnel of Muntinlupa Forward Platoon. Following their immediate response, the suspect was consequently arrested and identified as Ventura G Bolivar, married, jobless, residing at Phase 4 Blk 8 Lot 39 SV 3 Poblacion, Muntinlupa City.

Recovered from him were one heat sealed transparent sachet containing approximately 0.1 gram of white crystalline substance suspected to be illegal drugs; one knife; blade and kick starter which was suspected to be used in breaking into houses.

Unfortunately, the responding police officers failed to recover the items stolen by the suspect.

Currently, the victim is cooperating with Muntinlupa City Police Station for filing of appropriate charges for Robbery against the suspect.

Further, the suspect is in the custody of Criminal Investigation Unit, Muntinlupa City Police Station and will be facing charges for Violation of Sec 11, RA 9165 and B.P. 6 (Illegal Possession of Deadly Weapon) while the suspected illegal drugs were brought to PNP Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.

“I commend the immediate response of our police officers which resulted in the arrest of the suspect for robbery. Apparently, this is another proof of the success of our tactical deployment plan and the active support the community we serve and protect,” said PMGEN SINAS.
