Suspects for kidnapping of minor arrested by Police

2 Photos · Updated 3 months agoThe Parańaque City Police Station under the leadership of PSSUPT ROGELIO T ROSALES reported to NCRPO Regional Director PDIR GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR the successful arrest of a woman for attempted kidnapping at about 11:30am of February 19, 2019 at No. 8 Libas St., Sampalok Site, BF Homes, Parañaque City, The suspect was identified as Lilibeth Bustamante y Entena, 47y/o , female, resident of Manuyo Uno, Las Piñas City and a native of San Pedro, Laguna. Investigation disclosed that suspect asked the minor victim alyas nene, 10 years old, whether she knew the farthest store in the area and asked victim to accompany her. The victim refused, but the suspect grabbed and pulled her. The victim was shocked and cried but Bustamante continued pulling her. One of the neighbors intervened, thus Bustamante immediately left the victim. The incident was immediately reported by the mother of the victim – Marivic Marcelo to the duty Barangay Tanods and duty Police Officers that resulted in the arrest of the suspect Case records revealed that suspect, Bustamante, said that she was a member of a kidnapping group operating in Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan and Metro Manila. With this, Women and Children Protection Desk of Parańaque City Police Station conducted follow-ups and inquiries in Laguna PNP based on the information divulged by the suspect that her group had allegedly kidnapped 2 minors already in said province. However, response from Laguna PNP yielded negative results. A case of attempted kidnapping was filed against the suspect presently detained at Parańaque City Police Station custodial facility. In another report, the Paranaque City Police Station reported the arrest of a suspect in a similar case, at about 6:30 pm of March 7, 2019 in Pinaglabanan St., Santa Rita Ext., Baclaran, Parańaque City. The suspect was identified as; Princess Diana Estabillo y Camus, 19 years old, female, and a resident of Lambakin Dulo, Marilao Bulacan. Investigation disclosed that a victim alyas Totoy, 5 years old, was playing outside their house when suspect suddenly approached him and asked to accompany her in the comfort room. Suspect suddenly grabbed the victim’s hands and started walking away with her victim when bystanders who witnessed the incident, blocked the suspect. The mother of the victim – Maritonie Sarmiento reported the incident to the authorities. Thus, Estabillo was arrested by responding police officers from the Paranaque City Police Station. Afterwards, an alleged sister of the suspect appeared at the station and claimed that the suspect is mentally disturbed but failed to provide any medical records to prove her claim A case of attempted kidnapping was filed against the suspect and is presently detained at Parańaque City Police Station custodial facility. Complainants are grateful for the fast action of the Police Officers and Barangay Tanod to pre-empt the kidnapping incident. They thanked the police presence within their area that resulted to the immediate arrest of the suspects. PDIR ELEAZAR commended the police force for their sense of urgency and quick response. He also alerted the public to be more vigilant and observant of their surroundings. He said, “Safety and security is everybody’s concern. We can see that these two cases were accomplished because of the alertness of the neighborhood. It is gratifying that the community has become a more dynamic partner of the PNP in crime prevention and crime solution.”
