TAGUIG POLICE BUSTED SHABU WORTH 945K

The Chief of the National Capital Region Police Office lauds the anti-illegal drug operation of Taguig City Police Station, Southern Police District resulting in the arrest of a female drug suspect at about 11:00AM of September 28,2020 at No. 7 Road 6 Manggahan Site Brgy. North Daang Hari, Taguig City .

The operation was conducted after a confidential informant reported to the operatives regarding the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Racquel Arales y Villarreal a.k.a. Raquel ,38 yrs old,female, single, housekeeper and presently residing at No 07 Road 6 Manggahan Site Brgy. North Daang Hari, Taguig City (Arrested)

Initial investigation disclosed that operatives of Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) conducted an anti-illegal drug operation wherein a police officer acted as a poseur buyer. Upon consummation of the transaction, poseur buyer signaled to the other police officers thereat, thus, the immediate arrest of Arales.

Recovered from her possession are the following pieces of evidence:

a) Nine (9) pcs of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

b) One (1) unit Cellular phone Oppo brand;

c) One(1) coin purse; and

d ) two (2) pcs one hundred peso bill (powder dusted money) and three (3) pcs one hundred peso bill utilized as buy-bust money

The confiscated illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 139 grams with a DDB value amounting to Php 945, 200.00. It will be turned over to the SPD Crime laboratory for confirmatory testing.

Confiscated pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried in the presence of Barangay Kagawad Mario R Butial of Brgy North Daang Hari and a representative from media Mr. Nolan Ariola of Leaders News.

Arrested suspect was detained Taguig City Police Station pending the filing of complaints for violation of Sections 5 (Selling of dangerous drugs) and 11 (Possession of dangerous drugs) under Article II, of R.A. 9165.

“Our intensified campaign against all forms of criminality as well as the illegal drugs in our region continue to gain grounds. Rest assured that NCRPO will not stop to arrest these drugs personalities and their sources,” PMGEN SINAS said.
