NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the immediate reaction of the Parañaque City Police Station during a rescue operation inside Unit 3M20 4th Floor, Bayport West, NAIA Garden Residences, 412 NAIA Road, Brgy. Tambo, Parañaque City at about 5:30 PM of August 17, 2020
The operation started when Taiwan Embassy sought the assistance of Substation 2 regarding one victim who contacted them because he was alledgedly detained. Accordingly, said illegal detention was done by GE Company, Wanda Group represented by one @Barbie.
The victim was identified as Cai, Bing – Xuan with passport number 353610648, 23 years old, DOB: March 15, 1997 in Taiwan, male, single, Taiwanese National, POGO Employee, currently staying at Unit 3M20 4th Floor, Bayport West, NAIA Garden Residences, 412 NAIA Road, Brgy. Tambo, Parañaque City.
Initial investigation disclosed that the rescuing police officers of Brgy Tambo Sub Station together with the Brgy Officials of Brgy. Tambo arrived at the place of incident and coordinated with the management of the hotel about an alleged Taiwanese National being illegally detained at the aforementioned unit of their Hotel.
Consequently, the Property Manager John Fernando, OIC Security Cesar Galima Jr and the Security Operations Manager of the Hotel Mr Chris Sabat assisted the lawmen for the verification of the incident. As Mr. Sabat knocked on the door of the unit, then and there, the victim opened it by himself and it was noted that he was alone in the room.
Nevertheless, the victim submitted himself to the rescuing party and was brought to the substation for investigation. He then voluntarily executed an affidavit stating that he had no complain against the suspect or to the company as it all emanated from some misunderstandings.
“This incident is a manifestation how our authorities are taking and responding to complaints reported to us. I commend the quick response and proper coordination done by our men who knows the importance of immediate police response. Kakampi nyo po ang Team NCRPO,” PMGEN SINAS stated.
