PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the close coordination of PS4-Sampaloc Police Station, Manila Police District, Palo Municipal Police Station and PIU Leyte for the successful Service of Warrant of Arrest to the Top 1 Most Wanted Person of Sampaloc Police Station on August 15, 2020 at about 6:30 PM in Palo, Leyte.

Investigation report disclosed that through the information given by the Barangay Information Network (BIN) regarding the whereabouts of the wanted person, joint personnel of Intelligence/Warrant Section of PS-4 (MPD) together with Palo Municipal Police Station and PUI Leyte conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Guindapunan, Palo, Leyte that resulted in the arrest of the subject wanted person.

The accused was identified as Arjay Doron y Armerola, 28 years old, single and a resident of Brgy., Guindapunan, Palo Leyte. Doron was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape with Criminal Case no R-MNL-20-00187-CR dated March 5, 2020 issued by Hon Jaime B Santiago, Presiding Judge RTC, Branch 3, Manila with no bail recommended.

Further, during the arrest, Doron was informed of his constitutional rights in a language he understood. Likewise, accused is temporarily detained at Palo Municipal Police Station, Palo, Leyte for documentation before transport and presentation to the court of origin. “The recent accomplishment of our men is an overwhelming outcome of Team NCRPO’s campaign against Most Wanted Persons. I also appreciate the role of the Barangay Intelligence Network on this endeavor. This proves that an established police community relation is an effective measure in the maintenance of peace and order in the community,” PMGEN SINAS emphasized
