The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the personnel of Makati City Police Station Sub-Station 6 for the successful conduct of manhunt operations which led to the arrest of NCRPO’s Number 5 Regional Level Most Wanted Person for the 3rd Quarter of CY 2020.
Initial investigation report disclosed that the operation stemmed from information developed and coordinated by RIU-NCR to the personnel of Sub-Station 6, Makati City Police Station.
This prompted the police officers to plot an operation and cause the arrest of the accused at about 11:30am of July 9, 2020 along the stretch of Felipe St., Brgy Poblacion, Makati City.
The accused was later identified as Gonzalo Datu Jr y Dorilag, 42 years old, resident of Unit 5, Purok 14, Adarna St.,Brgy Commonwealth, QC.
He was arrested pursuant to a standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon.Ma.Lourdes Giron, Judge of RTC Branch 102, Quezon City for the crime of RAPE docketed under criminal case no.R-O2N-18-00121-CR with no bail recommended.
Further probing disclosed that the accused was listed and ranked number 5 in the NCRPO’s 3rd Quarter CY 2020 Regional Level Most Wanted Person list.
Suspect is currently detained at Makati City Police Station Custodial Facility pending the issuance of commitment order and return of the warrant of arrest to the court of origin.
