The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the manhunt operation conducted by the joint-operatives of 5th Mobile Force Battalion, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, NCRPO, RMFB F2 and PS-1 La Loma Police Station, QCPD which led to the arrest of the station’s Top 6 Most Wanted Person.
The operation stemmed from tips from a confidential informant regarding the whereabouts of the accused followed by a week-long surveillance to verify the veracity of the report.
According to the initial report, upon finding the information to be meritable, a service of warrant operation was conducted at about 6:30AM of June 26, 2020 along No 18 G Araneta Avenue Brgy Sto Domingo, Quezon City which resulted to the arrest of the accused.
He was later identified to be JEFF LESTER EVANGELISTA y GRAVIDEZ Alias “Baldo”, Male, Single, 29 years old, DOB: September 14, 1991, resident of No 18 G Araneta Avenue Brgy Sto Domingo Quezon City.
Further investigation disclosed that he was ranked Top 6 Most Wanted Person of QCPD Police Station 1 for the crime of theft docketed under Criminal Case No. R-QZN 15-08130-CR. The warrant of arrest against him was found to be issued by Hon. CATHERINE MANONDON (Presiding Judge) Quezon City RTC Branch 104.
The accused was informed/appraised of his constitutional rights and is now under the custody of La-Loma Police Station 1 QCPD for documentation pending the issuance of the commitment order against him.

We share our commitment to the people of the metro to effect the immediate arrest of persons with standing warrants of arrest to make them answer for the charges filed against them in court,” PMGEN SINAS said.
