NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful manhunt operations conducted by the operatives of District Intelligence Division, SPD together with personnel from Aparri Police Station, Cagayan Police Provincial Office which led to the arrest of Top 7 Most Wanted Person of Aparri Police Station, Cagayan Valley.
According to the initial report, the operation stemmed from an intelligence information shared by a source from Aparri Police Station, Cagayan Police Provincial Office in connection with the Warrant of Arrest against the accused and his possible whereabouts.
Thereafter, at about 1:30 pm of July 6, 2020, an operation to serve the alias warrant was conducted inside a Construction Site in Andrews Ave., Pasay City to the accused who was later identified as JOHN PHLIP YOLDI, male, 36 years old, a resident of Verdan Homes, Naic Cavite amd a native of Tallungan, Aparri in Cagayan Valley.
He was arrested by virtue of an Alias Warrant of Arrest issued by issued by Hon. Rolando Velasco, Judge, RTC Br. 10, Aparri, Cagayan Valley for the crime of Frustrated Homicide docketed under Criminal Case number 11-9191 with bail recommendation of Php120,000.
He was turned over to Taguig City Police Station for temporary custody while waiting for the issuance of a commitment order and return of the warrant to the court of origin.
“Metro manila is not a hiding place for persons with warrants of arrest. I commend the successful collaboration of Aparri police and our personnel from the Southern Police District, Intelligence Division which resulted in the arrest of another top wanted person,” said PMGEN SINAS.
