Top 8 Most Wanted Person Of Navotas City Arrested

National Capital Region Police Director, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, congratulated the personnel of Station Intelligence Branch of Navotas City Police Station (NCPS) for the arrest of Navotas’ Top 8 Most Wanted Person at about 7:10AM on August 14, 2020.

Investigation disclosed that the suspect had been long wanted by the law and after fruitful weeks of surveillance and intelligence operations, personnel of the Station Intelligence Branch of Navotas City Police Station finally arrested the suspect along Barangay San Roque, Navotas City.

Wanted person was identified as Rambel Peña y De Guzman, male, single, 36 years old, construction worker, and a resident of Judge A. Roldan St., Brgy. San Roque, Navotas City. He was arrested by virtue of the Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Ronald Q. Torrijos of Navotas City RTC Branch 288, for the crime of FRUSTRATED MURDER in Criminal Case No. N19-1726-CR dated December 20, 2019 with a recommended bail of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (PHP200,000.00) for his provisional liberty.

Further investigation revealed that on August 30, 2019, in the City of Navotas, the above-named accused, while armed with a bladed weapon suddenly attacked and assaulted Eligio Delos Reyes y Salarda who was unarmed. Delos Reyes was stabbed at the left side of his body but was able to get medical attention.

Furthermore, the arrested suspect is now under the custody of Navotas City Police Station pending the issuance of Commitment Order by the court while the Warrant of Arrest was turned over to the court of origin.

PMGEN SINAS, stressed that “the engagement of Team NCRPO in the implementation of proactive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 does not hinder our men in doing their job to go after lawless elements and those with standing warrants of arrest. The achievements of our team in serving pending warrants of arrest proves that the long arm of the law will always find its offenders.”
