VALENZUELA POLICE SEIZED MORE THAN 1.6 MILLION WORTH OF SHABU, M16 AND SHOTGUN FROM TWO DRUG SUSPECTS

The National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful anti-illegal drugs operation of the elements of Valenzuela City Police Station, Northern Police District which resulted in the seizure of more than 1.6 million pesos worth of illegal drugs, one (1) M-16 rifle and one (1) shotgun.

Casing, surveillance, monitoring and intelligence information gathering against the suspects until the conduct of a buy bust operation was plotted at about 9:30PM of June 30, 2020 at Unit 14 Money Trans Compound, Candido St. Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela City.

According to the initial investigation, during the conduct of the buy bust operation, elements of the Station Drug Enforcement Team proceeded to the place of transaction and one police officer posed as buyer. Upon consummation of the drug deal, operatives immediately arrested the suspects,

They were later identified as Glenn Perciana y Molet @ Bukol, male, 39 y/o, from Sorsogon, single, jobless and residing at unit 14 Money Trans Comp. Candido St. Mapulang, Valenzuela City; and Joebert Basito y Dequito, male, 41y/o, jobless, single and presently residing at Brgy. B.F Homes, Sucat, Parañaque City.

Recovered from their actual possession and control were the following pieces of evidence thus:

  • Seven (7) pcs. heat sealed transparent medium plastic sachets containing suspected shabu
  • six (6) pcs. One thousand peso bills Buy bust money
  • Six (6) pcs. Five hundred peso bills (recovered money)
  • five (5) pcs. One hundred peso bills
    (recovered money)
  • One (1) pc. Big pouch color blue
  • one (1) unit digital weighing scale
  • Two (2) units Cellphone
  • One (1) M16 riffle
  • one (1) m16 magazine
  • ten (10) pcs. M16 live ammunition
  • one (1) shotgun
  • five (5) pcs. Shotgun live ammunitions

Seized items believed to be shabu with estimated weight of more or less 240 grams with Standard Drug Price value of Php 1,632,000.00 will be turned – over to PNP Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.

The inventory of confiscated pieces of evidence were made at place of arrest in the presence of the arrested suspects and witnessed by Barangay Kagawad Romy Carreon and a Media Representative Richard Mesa.

“Through commendable accomplishment of Northern Police District, Team NCRPO was able to prevent drug trade and usage of theses contrabands in other illegal activities,” said PMGEN SINAS.
