Warrant Of Arrest, Served To NPD’s Top Most Wanted Person

NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful manhunt operation by the personnel of Northern Police District which led to the successful service of warrant of arrest to its District Level No. 1 Most Wanted Person for the 2nd Quarter of 2020 inside BJMP Facility in Taguig City.

According to the initial report, the success of the operation was grounded upon a series of intelligence information gathering regarding the whereabouts of the accused followed by surveillance, monitoring and in depth operational research in relation to “LOI Manhunt Charlie” until the accused was located at about 10:30 AM of July 21, 2020 inside Annex 7, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Quarantine Facility, Camp Bagong Diwa Bicutan, Taguig City.

The accused was identified as VERGEL LEONOR Y JAYME @ETAT, 24 y/o, male, single, Detainee, with known address at 356 Marulas A, Brgy 36, Caloocan City.

Thereafter, a Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of MURDER with Criminal Case Nr. C-108634 dated April 2, 2019 issued by Hon. ROSALIA HIPOLITO-BUNAGAN, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 232 in Caloocan City with NO BAIL recommended was served upon him.

Your dedication to duty amid the stringent call of service in the frontline as we face this health crisis is truly commendable,” said PMGEN SINAS.

The accused will remain detained in the BJMP Facility in Taguig City while the Warrant of Arrest was returned to the Court of Origin with attached Certificate of Detention issued by BJMP Taguig City.
